Choosing the Right Bath Towel
Bath towels are a key component to an enjoyable Badehåndklær. Their water absorption and quick-drying properties, comfort and softness, portability, versatility, and easy maintenance make them a bathroom essential. In addition, they come in a wide range of sizes, colors, and designs.
Choosing the right towel for you depends on several factors, including price, longevity, and absorbency. Inexpensive towels can be tempting, but they may not hold up well against repeated use and wash cycles. Towels made from high-quality materials, on the other hand, tend to cost more upfront but offer greater value in terms of durability and quality.
Premium Bath Towels for Ultimate Comfort
When shopping for a bath towel, you should look for one that is made from long-staple or extra-long-staple cotton (ELS). These types of fibers produce smoother, stronger yarns. You should also look for a higher GSM, or grams per square meter, rating, which indicates fabric weight. A heavier weight towel is typically more plush and will feel softer than a lighter towel.
In our tests, the Onsen Spa Plush and the Casaluna Waffle both came out top performers for their softness. The former has neater stitching and fewer loose threads around the edges than other under-$20 bath sheets we’ve tested, and it still looks great after multiple washes. The latter is available in a half dozen colors and carries the Made in Green certification from Oeko-Tex, as well as Target’s generous return policy for its own brands. However, it has a lower GSM rating and shorter loops than the Onsen, so it doesn’t feel quite as plush.
